This is Carter Quinley, one of the graduates. She had a party at her house, hence more pictures.=) Carter is really sweet, always has a nice thing to say about & to you.I love this picture!! Her parents had put pictures of Carter-growing-up all over the hall.

So someone suggested Karaoke and we all headed to Big Echo and got a large room to ourselves.
As you can see, some of us reeeallly got into it. It was pretty crazy!The girls doing "neeearrr, farrrrrr, whereEEEEVEERRR you areeeee"..of course, Josh W. had his own version going on in front of the tv to block the soft-porn onscreen. hahahahahaha!

Senior Banquet

Friday we had this Senior's Banquet at the Royal Benja Hotel. Basically, all the high school graduates from my Bangkok church, ECB having a nice little dinner. It had the usual criteria of banquets - baby pictures, slideshows, teary eyed parents, a few performances, good dinner, oohahh-ing at dresses, photography & cam-whoring (two diff categories, although i must say we may have merged the borders into one,hehe)..

I sang two /three songs. One was a duet with Lucia the girl I'm staying with. I wrote the song specifically for the banquet and thankfully, they seem to have loved it. A dad cried. (still amused by this fact)

The second song was a solo, a cover song - Rachael Lampa's 'Blessed'. Extremely tricky, this one. I'm still not sure if I hit the notes right, it all went by so fast. haha -_-

But I think we succeeded with 'This Far', the duet. I always said personalization is the best - everyone can appreciate it.
So you want pictures eh? I promise I'll put them up as soon as I get them. Can't figure out how to save pictures with the Mac mouse. sheesh.

Chatbox Censored.Youtube Censored. What else lah aiyoh.

So you all know they censored Youtube here in Thailand right? Yeah. And then I discovered that in some places, even my blog's CHATBOX is censored? I lack the courage to voice out my thoughts on the um, government here. People get jailed/banned/dismissed/beat-up here for voicing out opposing thoughts.

Anyhow.
You know how they say 'who you hang out with influences your character' (or something like that lah)..well, what about the things you read. I mean, let's say I read this magazine about the latest music technology and they write their reviews as realistically as possible, whether it be praise or downright disgust. Will I in turn learn to "review" other products that I see in a shop in that same way? Does one pick up and practice another person's way of thinking just by constant reading of the other's writing?

Extremely random thought: Does anyone remember Shon Leong? Where is he ar??
