By: Karina Foo
Tamara Jayne Nagaratnam (Tammy), Joelle Regina, Michelle Ooi and Joshua Paul Jesudasan, who had auditioned as soloist in the DiGi CelebriTeen singing competition, were told that they were good, but they would be better off if they came back to audition as a quartet.
In the ensuing 20-minute scramble, these school friends found out that the easy part was to perform as a regular quartet; the hard part was to polish up their singing....[click HERE to read the rest..]

A TRAGEDY
Remember I said I lost ALL my music last week? Well, this week after waiting for my laptop for THREE days while it was in for a checkup, they tell me my hard disk had issues. So they said they'd change it, and asked if there were any important data I wanted to keep.
Of course, to me, my MUSIC/recordings are my data, but I love my pictures and videos and other stuff like study links and bookmarks!! Anyway, they wanted to charge me RM80 to BACKUP only. Of course I refused, I said I'd come backup myself.
So I backed up whatever I thought was necessary, anti-virus setup..my pictures/videos..college transcript..firefox....etc etc.
HOW WAS I SUPPOSED TO KNOW THAT THEY WEREN'T GONNA PUT MICROSOFT WORD back in!??!?!?!?
Babi. I booted the laptop to discover NOTHINGNESS. It wasn't JONI'S LAPTOP anymore. It's horrible!
The sadness I feel is deeper than last week's. *emodramalion*
Anyway the moral of the story is......................
Always backup your **** and show Joni some LURVE by sending her stuff she'd want in her laptop. Thank you amillionmillion i love you gnite.

Mind distractions - thanks to Pet. -_-
To all those who have wondered......
they came up with that conclusion after a mere 7 questions. wow.
and look at this..
much to my mother's dismay....sorry mom..
I think people are gonna protest about this one..
"oh really" is what i thought when i got this coz this week i think it's SO not true..
Poyo.
and "okayyyy"....
To add to the previous post: I developed a rash today.
You Are Straight |
There's not much queer about you. So let's just say you're straight... but not narrow. |
they came up with that conclusion after a mere 7 questions. wow.
and look at this..
Your Quirk Factor: 62% |
You're so quirky, it's hard for you to tell the difference between quirky and normal. No doubt about it, there's little about you that's "normal" or "average." |
much to my mother's dismay....sorry mom..
You Probably Couldn't Be a Vegetarian |
The truth is, you really like your meat - a lot more than you like animals. For you, being vegetarian is hardly even a choice. You'll take steak over tofu any day. A vegetarian lifestyle is not in the cards for you. You're just not going to go there! |
I think people are gonna protest about this one..
You Are 32% Cynical |
Generally you give people the benefit of the doubt. But there are exceptions. You buy into many of the things that mainstream society believes, but you're not anybody's fool. |
"oh really" is what i thought when i got this coz this week i think it's SO not true..
Your Intrapersonal Intelligence Score: 83% |
Your Intrapersonal Intelligence is Very High You've spent a lot of time introspecting, and it's really paid off. You are comfortable with who you are, and you have a life philosophy that you are happy to live by. And you're always re-evaluating what you believe. Because you learn something new about yourself each day! |
Poyo.
Your Interpersonal Intelligence Score: 64% |
Your Interpersonal Intelligence is High You are definitely a "people person." You enjoy spending time with others. You instinctively understand people, and you are both a good counsellor and mediator. However, there are definitely times when you've had enough. And that's when you cherish being alone. |
and "okayyyy"....
Your Celebrity Boob Twin: |
Geri Halliwell |

A sucky week.
I want to say something happening, or nice, or sweet, but all I have is a heckload of disgusting mucus up my nose, a swollen throat, and my insides are aching. in more ways than one.
I don't think I'll even try to describe my week. It was so mentally disturbing, unexplainable and downright sucky.
Firstly, with no apparent reason, I woke up on Thursday to discover that all my music had disappeared from my laptop.
Every single audio file I had, including personal recordings, live recordings, unreleased music collected from artist friends.
Even if it WAS a virus, though I seriously doubt it, how can 2,850 files=24GB just disappear like that?! and ONLY my MUSIC folder!
I don't get it.
My precious music, please come baaaackkkkk.
Then, the weather caught up with me and I developed a swollen throat, the type where swallowing anything hurts. Then it was a slight fever. Then it was a runny RUNNY nose. That's the stage it's at right now. Feverish runny nose dry cough. *sniff.swallow.yuck*
And the biggest issue of the week - people. I hadn't even recovered from That One Incident a week ago, and already another has topped it. Ok, there won't be explicit gory details here. But I'll try an abstract, as usual.
Let's say we're all playing an extremely complicated version of Monopoly. Well, I just made a bad move/investment/buy. And it's one of those where your next move is gonna bring you down. No matter what move you make.
I learnt my lesson the very hard way this time. God, I won't do that ever again. I want to make me better.
I need medicine. Or a magic clock.
At least so far I can use the physical sickness as an excuse for the emoness/lacklusterness/lack of friendliness. It helps prevent questions I don't wanna answer.
Although, at the same time, I want to just GET OUT of the house coz I can't stand having all the space to THINK AND THINK AND THINK. That's why I went out today and stayed out despite the awful flu.
Ok I'm done. If I saw you today, and you catch the flu bug from me, I'm so sorry!
Remember my weird fact about smelling my hair for comfort? I can't even do that now coz my nose is stuffed!! ugh.
with burning eyeballs,
joni.

White&Gold
That was the theme at Brando and Kevan's recent birthday bash. So with a little unease at having to wear the bloating-color, I dressed up with Bernice and Eunice at their home, and we headed to Tropicana. Our arrival was announced by MC Jiggie, and a camera clicked in our faces, but I have yet to receive those pictures. =D We arrived at about 10:35pm (transport issues), had some food, played some booty-shaking games, and then just about everyone had a turn to squish up on the dance floor. It's been awhile since I've gone to a dance party, so I had fun.=) I especially missed dancing this week after watching Dirty Dancing:Havana Nights (which is pretty sexy, btw)
Here's Kevan with his perfect girlfriend Khing Wei - the one with the beautiful rainbow eyes. Kevan turned 19. And Brando, the kid who used to run around asking me what my name was and then naming me Jonanananannananaaaaa, turned 16 this year. Here's to an AWESOME year ahead, good memories, and minimal hangovers. *clink*

Who shaped your thoughts?
A friend of mine recently posted this up and I wanted to share it:
What does society value, if anything at all? How I wonder. Is it true that morals are deteriorating? Or simply a notion put in our faces by self appointed 'police' ? The universe is a large large space.. perhaps the concept of relativity is inescapable after all, even to those who would deny it. What separates 'good' from 'evil' , 'justice' from 'injustice'. According to Socrates, justice is wisdom and injustice is vice. So do we group justice with good, and injustice with bad? While certainly Sunday school answers are ingrained into our consciousness..have we ever stopped to ponder why? Who shaped our minds? Who decides what 'society' is, functions as, and concerns itself with? Who made up 'morals'? No.. Of course I believe it is still right to do right.. but we must constantly question the world around us..seek answers and push for them when it is withheld. So what is 'right'?

Featuring...Pt. IV : Sexy Lucia.
So I had four days of class last week in Bangkok, and no, while I have nothing much to say about that, I do wanna show you who I stayed with.
Introducing Lucia, the beautiful Thai girl who let me stay with her in her pretty room for the week.
You may wipe that drool off now, pleasethankyou. But yeah, she was a real sport, and I had a good time staying with her, both of us keeping each other company ..I shall refrain from the..um..details. Moving on,The white chick in the pic above is Kristina who is another character of her own. I love this picture, it's got so many potential titles. Lucia named it "Ragdolls". I'd put something a lil darker, though. heheh I love their expressions!
here's a good one of the mini Lucia @ Pompeii. Another beauty. If only it was a little clearer..
Summary:
Lucia, pretty Thai girl, contains complex infrastructure of the female mind and isn't afraid to speak out, studies in prestigious Chulalongkorn University of Thailand, lived in Italy for six years, will make you eat her coffee-flavored jellybeans. =)
